- Thursday June 5 Johan Åkerström reporting: Departure towards Thongal " Departure by Jeep towards Thongal 2900m. Road blocks and passport controls were very common. Unloading along with set-up of camp (tent). Before dinner we walked a couple of kilometers to a warm volcanic spring, there we enjoyed a heavenly bath. Tomorrow, friday our hike from Askole towards Korophon will begin. In the afternoon we will attempt to transfer the first pictures to Sweden. Finaly on our way !" |
